In 2005, Microsoft gifted a special white Xbox 360 console with green accents exclusively to members of the Xbox 360 Launch Team. These consoles featured a matching 20GB hard drive in green, replacing the standard grey top and bottom sections. Each hard drive plate was personalized message of the person choice (the main reason u now find a lot of these HHD with the plate removed and it may have a personally message by the person that had it made) , although some were engraved with alternative inscriptions such as the console’s release date,
“November 22, 2005,” as u can see this this console that we own
or the phrase “3 Years of Pain.”
The bundle also included a limited-edition controller with green trim instead of the usual grey, paired with a plain white faceplate on the console.
As an extra gift, every team member received a packaged, one-of-a-kind faceplate decorated with unique artwork and the words “I Made This” printed on the USB door.

These consoles were never available for sale to the public, making them extremely rare today. Only a handful have surfaced outside of original team members’ collections. The exact number of existing Launch Team consoles remains unknown, but they are considered rare but not the rarest Xbox 360 variants ever produced.
