Many people mistakenly believe that this console uses the Tonasket motherboard. While it does share a very similar silhouette, this is not the case. Microsoft designed a unique motherboard revision specifically for the XDK, which is not identical to Tonasket. The key difference is the inclusion of extra traces to support 1GB of RAM, a feature exclusive to the development hardware.
